I was a big fan of the original Amazon eBook reader but that’s not to say it didn’t have its flaws. The release of the Amazon Kindle 2
has been eagerly anticipated and it sees many improvements. The first improvement is most certainly the price. eBook readers are more affordable than ever before. It is not just its size and weight that makes the Kindle 2
more desirable than ordinary paperback books; it has so much more to offer.
For those that don’t already know, the Kindle weighs a mere 10.2 ounces and holds over 1500 books. Long gone are the days when you have to travel to buy a book or wait days for it to be delivered. Buy a book on your Kindle and it’s available to you in less than 60 seconds. A comprehensive guide of books you might like based on what you have already purchased is available also. Just like the Sony PRS 505
e-book reader, the display reads just like real paper.
Light conditions do not affect your reading and there is no glare omitted that would cause eyestrain like computer screens or smart phones. With the Kindle 2, battery life is improved by 25%. That means you can read for days on a single charge. The new Read-to-Me feature acts like an audiobook, reading newspapers, books and blogs aloud to you.
The new Kindle also has faster page turns, a built in dictionary and wireless Wikipedia. If you own an iPhone, you can sync it to your Kindle and pick up your reading anywhere you left off. The possibilities are endless with this innovative and useful gadget

I am an author, can anyone recommend which would be the best kindle to buy 1 or 2
I read an article on Amazon and based on the comments, Kindle 2's battery lasts 25% longer than kindle 1's.
The K2 is thinner and sleeker than the K1 and has lots more built-in memory.
The price needs to go down some more Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!
