Verizon is hoping to release its IPhone competitor "Motorola Droid". Verizon has announced that it will be holding a special event that day in order to "unleash" the "must-have device of the year.
The Motorola Droid has a lot of cool features that will compete with Apple "IPHONE". Even though it is thicker than the iPhone 3GS ,its QWERTY-slider is thinner which can be used horizontal. Also the Droid runs on the TI OMAP 3430 processor, one of the best processors on the market.
The Droid's screen displays video at 854x480 pixels while iPhone 3GS uses 640x480-pixel.
