Dell has a great reputation for whacking out the best PDAs
on the market to date. The Dell Axim X51v is no exception to the rule. It has a 3.7 inch VGA screen with 640x480-pixel resolution and a 16-bit-colour output.
It’s very comfortable to hold as the back cover is made of rubber and the edges are lovely and round. Although its design is fairly similar to the X50's with its round edges and similar colours, it is above par in the features department. The Dell Axim X51v runs latest version of Windows Mobile 5.0. Dell are on top of all things Pocket Pc as they are the first to market this. You’ll benefit from a more persistent memory. There are also dual expansion slots to ensure lots of storage space to meet all your needs.
For when you’re on the road there’s Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, so you’re able to enjoy all your MP3, WMV and WMA files. The most impressive feature of the Dell Axim X51v is its built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which can run simultaneously. The wireless performance is really incredible. The 624MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor and the Intel 2700G graphics engine is also impressive.

Some nice extras are included in the box too. You’ve got a companion CD, a case, a desktop-synchronization cradle (with an extra slot to charge a second battery) and a power adapter. The ActiveSync 4 software is a great help for synchronising your PDA with your computer.
